My time spent shooting with Sanctband was one of my most enjoyable shoots I have done . This is even though it involved having to exercise ,so you should know that this was a really good shoot.

It had a lot to do with the people. And the shoot was done in Ipoh, which is home for me.

I was already friends with the client, photographer, makeup artist and the other talent so I was very comfortable throughout the shoot.

It's really different going on set without knowing anyone as compared to knowing everyone.

When you go on set not knowing anyone, you have to be really careful.
You don't know if the client is really anal or if the photographer likes working a certain style.
And you also seat and eat alone :(



The shoot was done in Sanctband's HQ in Greentown.
It was a very chill environment from the beginning.
I changed into my given clothes and then there was hair and makeup.

There were altogether 3 talents that day.
Audrey is a fitness instructor. She teaches Pilates and Yoga. She owns her own studio.
PoHeng is working on being a certified fitness instructor.
And then there was me, a bum who only works out when the grumpy cat nags me too.
I was very obviously short-handed here. 

Audrey was also the person that took most of the pictures that are in this post. So thank you for being the behind the scenes photographer Audrey! :)

The set up was really simple. Our photographer from Jeremy L. Photography turned an empty office space into a studio in a matter of minutes.






Audrey and the client guided us through what poses they wanted from us. The Sanctband resistive bands were way more effective than I thought they would be. I had to hold some poses for a long time and I could feel my arms shaking from the tension it was causing.

If you follow me on my social media channels, you would most probably know that this picture of me was chosen for the products' packaging.



But, what you didn't know was that while taking the picture, my hands were literally shaking crazy. You wouldn't think that a piece of plastic could have so much power.

As usual, shooting involves a lot of waiting time.You wait for you turn at hair and makeup, wait for the photographer to change lighting, wait for the other talents to be shot .



I like to bring either my laptop or a book when I go for shoots. At the time of the Sanctband shoot, I was really into Aristocats.. no shame.

After the photo shoot, we took a break for lunch and waited for the set to be reset to take videos.
