Last Friday I went for a dinner . Mr Paul, my college director, was one of the guest. Seeing the opportunity to get to know him better, I geared myself with tons of questions and headed his way. One of the questions I asked him was if running a college had been what he always wanted to do. Surprisingly, he answered yes. He always knew he was meant for the education industry. I replied, telling him that he was one of the lucky ones. Then it was time for self contemplation. Time and time again God has been questioning me what my passion is. What's scary is that every time, I have a different answer. Not all of us are as lucky as Mr Paul; being able to do what we have true passion for. I mean for me, I don't even know what my passion is :) (yet) But what I've learnt from Mr Paul is that when you finally do find out what your passion is, and you work accordingly, work isn't work anymore. There's true joy within you. Even if your passion means giving up important things, the peace within you is present. I do hope this post serves as a reminder, to all those who haven't found their passion yet, to keep searching, in hopes that one day, we can obtain the joy that I saw within Mr Paul to all those who already have found what they have passion for, to encourage you to work towards it and not put it to waste and to all those who are already pursuing their passions, to remind you that you're one heck of a lucky person :) Love, Sabrina Labels: college 2 lovely comments ✿

Though this is a story from the Bible, I do hope it edifies my other friends and readers out there :) So in the bible, there was a man called Job. Now Job had EVERYTHING. In fact, I think he is very much like Will Smith Oh, but most importantly, One day satan came to God, and challenged that he could make Job curse God's name. God took on the challenge and He allowed all kinds of things to be put upon Job. Job's possessions got stolen, all his kids died, his house fell apart, even his wife left him. but, not once did Job curse the name of God. Finally satan (who was running out of ideas) infected Job with leprosy And again, not once did Job curse the name of God. After some time, Job starts to question God "why me?!??!?! Why are you letting this happen to me??" And God replies "Because I am God" And though most of us would reply *sjkdgfskdjgf* Job chose to say "Fine then, Praise be to you" And right there, the battle was won. God was so happy with Job that He gave Job everything and even more back to him! I try to relate this story to my life whenever I can. I try to remind myself to praise the Lord in times of my troubles. And even now, though I feel rather crappy, Blessed be your name Lord, you've got beautiful plans ahead for me. Now religion aside, do you give thanks for everything that you have? Even in your bad times? Love, Sabrina Ps: To Know more about the Story of Job, click here 3 lovely comments ✿

Jeremiah 29:13 You will seek me and find Me. When you seek me with all your heart, I will be found by you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back from captivity. I will gather you from all the nations and places where I have banished you," declares the LORD, "and will bring you back to the place from which I carried you into exile." I'm coming back to you Lord. Love, Sabrina Labels: thought of the day 0 lovely comments ✿
Not sure if you've seen but here is a Vlog of an UCLA student, Alexandra Wallace, ranting about well, how much she hates Asians. She even talks about our mommas. (no you didn't) Here is a word of advice for you, Ranting about how you hate 61% of the world population is never a smart thing to do. In fact, Alexandra has since gotten death treats and her family has been harassed countless times. (Find out more here) My opinion ? Well yeah, stupid thing to do but death threats? Honestly? I think we're better than that. I think we're way more capable. If only we were all like Jimmy here *blushes* OOH HIS CUTE!!Don't be hating. Love, Sabrina Labels: Videos 3 lovely comments ✿
