Dear Erin, When you are elder, boys will want to be more than friends with you. And you will want to be more than friends with boys as well. (You will learn about this in science class, I won't elaborate) Erin, listen closely, Do not fall for sweet words. Do not be swayed by kind actions. Do not settle for less than you deserve. You hold the key to your heart. No one else does. And at the end of the day, it is up to you to whom you want to give the key to. It's a very previous key, so you need to be careful with your decision. Guard your heart very closely. Guard it like its a precious jewel. To understand a boy ,you need to take a close look at his heart. And the heart is not something you can understand in a day, or a week, or a month. So, do not rush. Take your time. Spend time with each other, go for picnics, volunteer at a children's home, go for plays, get to know each other better. Dear Erin, Do not awaken love until the time is right. After reading this post you shall not have a reason to complain to Facebook about how bored you are anymore okay? 1. Mini Golf anyone? What? It's Malaysia's 1st Indoor Miniature Golf Course. The indoor 18-hole course is an affordable way to 'sweat it out' without actually sweating! I generally am a fan of doing outdoor activities indoor so this was perfect for a day out on a hot afternoon. Upon arrival , the friendly shop attendee assisted us in picking the correct golf stick and briefed us about the rules and regulations of the game. We were taught how to score each other, how to hold the stick properly, yaada yaada yaada. There's also a quirky waiting area equipped with books and magazines We finished the entire game in about half-an-hour and decided to go for another round (though I think we're not supposed to). I don't think one can actually spend more than an hour here, unless you play really slowly and debate about who was the better golfer at every hole. Who? I went the first time with Moses and had great fun so it was only right to bring my little sister there when she came to the city for a visit. It's a great place to go for a date , if you're babysitting or if you're having an outing with a small group of friends. Since each person has to take turns at all 18 holes, it might get taxing if you're in a big group. Why? Come on, who doesn't like mini golf? How much? Special offers: Every weekday 12-3pm lunch hour : RM10 per game Monday Nite: Unlimited Golf (adult RM30,teens RM20, child RM16) Tuesday Nite: Student Nite (RM12 per pax) Wednesday Nite: Ladies Nite (RM18 for one lady, the other lady friend is free) Thursday Nite: Couples Nite (RM25 per couple) Where? Mini Putt Lot F-42A, 1st Floor, Citta Mall What? You know how there are paintings that look very real life and 3D like? You know, you've seen them on Facebook and Tumblr? Well it has came to Malaysia. A whole 2-storey museum filled with paintings like them! Who? Go with someone who has a good eye. Some paintings took us forever to get the perfect angle to capture it in. We gave up on nearly half the paintings there. We had many fail shots as well. For example, the one below. Don't go with people who are cross-eyed, cause you're pictures are going to be screwed. Why? Because it would be cool to have something like this as your profile picture. How much ? Entry is RM 5 a person. BUUUTTT I have to warn you that the museum is located in I-City that has a RM10 per entry parking lot so it would be wise for you and your friends to carpool. Where? The museum is actually part of the attractions of I-City. I would advise you to go at night because the light decorations are turned on and it's not too hot. But don't expect much. Other than the Trick Art Museum, the other attractions aren't interesting or worth the ticket price. They open daily from 11am to 11pm
or call them at :03-5521 8800/8494 3. Organic Food anyone? What? Try out a new cuisine for the very first time! My first experience with organic food did not go as bad as I pictured it to be. In fact, it turned out to be a rather pleasant meal. The above dish is called Cukawamee (Rm 5.90). I know it sounds funky. It tasted like the combination of seaweed and jelly fish. Not too bad actually. This is the Mushroom Baked Rice (Rm12.90) that was highly recommended by other bloggers. It was a disappointment. It lacked in flavor and the rice was hard and chewy. Another dish recommended by bloggers was the Herbs Fried Ramen (Rm10.90). Anyone who knows me well would know that I am not a fan of vegetables so I was not looking forward to this veg-filled dish. I however, really enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone trying organic food for the 1st time (or 2nd, or 3rd, wtv la, just try it okay? It's really good) But the star of the evening had to be the Mango Pudding (Rm4.90). I have actually since returned to the shop just get the same pudding a couple of times. That's how good it is. Knowing that it is organic is an added bonus (pysho-ing myself into believing that I can eat as many serving as I want because it's organic, which means it's healthy )
(too lazy to turn the pic. Could you maybe tilt your head?)
Who? Please don't go with potong steam people that would compare and criticize the food as if they were an expert food critic. You're going there to enjoy the food and try something new, not to write a research essay on the restaurant. Even better, don't bring anyone so you don't have to share your food. Why? It's healthy okay? That should be a good enough reason for you to go. How Much? The menu is price very reasonably. Plus their dishes come in big portions so a dish could be shared between 2 people. Where? Chef Low Organic Kitchen They open on Tuesdays to Sundays from 10.30am to 9.30pm so there you go. Go make new experiences and memories. Remember to take many pictures!
Be Right Back,
Sabrina.
side note: Don't bother going to Genting Highlands anymore. The place is not kept well and the whole amusement park just looks dodgy. It's definitely not worth the long drive up. Such a disappointment.meow. Labels: children, food, friends, kl, malaysia, me, the sister, travel 1 lovely comments ✿
I came up with Thought of The Day ( TOTD for short) in 2010. It was because I had in hand a bundle of inspirational photos and quotes that I wanted to share with the world, and at that time, have not been introduced to Tumblr .Oh by the way, check out my tumblr here! (I have no shame in promoting myself). As I posted more TOTD's ,I realized that people were actually enjoying it, thus i kept going ,right till today.....
Two post in 2 days. I'm on a roll!
Be Right Back,
Sabrina

Dear Erin, Sometimes, you are going to feel alone. You can share a class with 300 people, be part of a loving church, have a thousand friends on Facebook (that is, if you still use Facebook) and still feel alone. And there are going to be people who make you feel bad for being alone. They'll tell you it's not cool to be alone, or that you should be out with friends every night. or worse still, that you're boring. But you're not. Let me tell you my darling, It's better to be alone than to be among friends that have no purpose. It's better to be alone than to be out everyday, doing random things with no passion. It's better to be alone than to be the most popular but still unsure of who you are. Sometimes it's just better to be alone. But don't exclude yourself from the world. No, that would be worrying. Go out, please. I just want you to know, that sometimes, it's okay to be alone. It's when you're alone that you think. It's when you're alone that you speak to God. It's when you're alone that you have monologues inside your head and most importantly, inside your heart. It's also when you're alone that you remember all your forgotten chores. And when you're done with being alone Gather yourself together and throw yourself out there again. Try something new, meet new people, gather new experiences. But don't forget Erin, To return to being alone every once in awhile. Love, Sabrina Labels: Dear Erin 0 lovely comments ✿ |
