An extremely delayed post due to my annoying need to edit all the pics. I sendiri cari pasal one. Throughout the 2 weeks of Youth Enrichment School, we were given ton's of "homework" to do by the Youth Alive Committee. Both physical and mental homework..I, for one, found this rather hard as my brain hasn't exactly been working for the last month. Note: SPM over = no need of brain cells. The "homework" list included:- sitting in for classes (which carried on for about 5 hours a day). Like you actually have to sit and listen. This is found pretty hard. The chairs were the type where the "table" was joined to it so every time I wanted to stand up, I had to like twist here, bend there, move here, just so I do not make a scene in class.oh and to make sure that you were paying attention in class, they gave us notes with blanks to fill in-genius andrea'ssabrina'sclass in progress Youth outreach. This was fun. Got to see how different church's carried out their youth meetings. We had the opportunity to worship, share and promote YES. In the end, it seemed like the YES team was more blessed then the church.I mean. we blessed them alright, but we got much more in return. One of the Pastors shared with me that the average attendance for churches in Malaysia is 30. I always thought that COP was like small (with GT and City Harvest all) but "wah, learn to be proud of COP ady". So people, GO TO CHURCH LAH! teamwork-based activities.all 44 of us were divided into 4 groups. We spent ALOT of time together, doing sketches, worship team practices, etc. I could really see how all of us were are so blessed by the Lord through this. Like, there were 11 of us in my group, and each one of us had such amazing talents. At times I just want to stop everything and go like "woah, this is amazing" aaron moses.the trans *teehethe curtain gameall tanggled upteam rice freaks *woohoo worship team practise creative arts workshops. Dance and Vocal classes were great. Vocals was done by Juwita Sowita. Despite all her fame and like "she's so good" I have to say that she's really down to earth. I guess the Lord has been the thing that kept her grounded all the while. I really really like her. VOCAL CLASS WAS THE MOTHER OF ALL BOMBS!!! and then there was flagging. flagging..... urm.... was rather... flaggy. Flagging- i doubt it's my kind of thing. I'm not a flag person. Me and Flags don't exactly bond well.To the surprise of many, the guys seemed to have lots of fun flagging. Theo for one was outstanding. *cough cough. Snigger* multimedia workshop.no,i'm seirous visitations to children home/drug rehab centre. This was uber great. Imagine this, 2 teams joined together, no preparations, no nothing, put into a children's home for 3 hours. I mean. ONLY BY THE GRACE OF GOD did we have SOO MUCH FUN!!! This was like our "magical" moment. Everything fell into place-the worship, the games, the sketch (OMYGAWD CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT THEY GOT A SKETCH READY IN 10 MINS?!?!?). We had sooooo much fun. When it was time to go back, AARON CRIED!!! XD *nyek nyek nyekHomework, Homework, Homework. Waaah the assignments they give you at YES, is like a total "WOOOAH" after a whole month haul of no studying. It included 2 books review (that's' where the BCM library came in handy), interpretation of a psalms passage, and there was an exam at the end of camp. But you can't really call it at exam because we were told what was coming out.. And in the middle of the exam, Pastor Lisa was like "Okay, we give you 5 mins to look through your notes!" owh. they made us memorise all 66 books of the bible.Andrea and Nigel made up a song for it which I could not pick up. Like.. Who makes up a song of the 66 books of the Bible weh?!?!?!?! - Andrea and Nigel. In all, it's like God's way's fit ngam ngam in you life. Like, throughout the camp, it was as if God was with everyone of it's participants.Even with all the assignments, and all the team meetings and the sketches, no matter how little time we had, we knew that everything would fit into place cause ..... bible college weeerrrttt =) One incident that struck me at camp was when we were doing our 2nd Youth Outreach. We put alot of planning on the 1st one so when the time came for the 2nd outreach, we were all quite drained out. The only proper practice we had for the worship was before the youth meeting itself. So, 1st practice came and we sucked so bad.Even the youths were giving us the "eeyer" look. Then Pastor Nirhal stopped us and was" I think we should pray". Then it hit us, all this while, we were doing everything in the flesh like not once did we pray about this. So after prayer we had another practice, and *taaadaa* it went so great. And at the youth meeting itself, everything went by Pur-fectly. So, 2nd lesson learnt at Y.E.S, Be still, and know that He is God. btw, another love-able episode of xia xue's guide to life LIVE life LAUGH harder LOVE more Sabrina. C btw.
