its sticky and distracts the class. Its the primary cause of many hair accidents which results to weird hair cuts. When I was still in Form 3 somewhere early in the year – I brought a whole packet of Wrigley’s to school and refused to share it with anyone *kiasu me*. I forgot to spit it out in science class and Pn Chan so happened to be my science teacher (mind you- the demerit system was not introduced at that time). Said Pn Chan in the middle on class “Sabrina Chan, spit the gum on your hand and keep it there until class is over” It was an 80-minute class. 2. Bring to school only what is needed My longest lasting bag was say, 6 months? I had this thing for always changing school bags. Don’t get me wrong, none of them were new. *stolen goods from the closet*. My current school bag is probably my favorite among all. Its small and it has something to do with saving the environment- so I feel good when I use It.-Like I’m doing the world a favor. *aha 3. Be in proper conduct at all times. Though 99% of the student body fails to abide by this rule, it has always been pressed on by Datin Munjit who would read random sections of the school’s rules and regulations book in the morning assembly. Heck, we still do love her because acording to Sharon, her son is a real hottie. 4. Earrings can only be black, silver or gold. I don’t see the point of this rule- I really don’t. So what if we wear bright pink or neon blue earring? What, you blind the teachers ah? =) 5. No swearing I really don’t see where this certain rule is going. How would you even know if a student is swearing lah? It’s not like we have enough cash to surround the entire school with little mikes. Heck, we don’t even have enough funds to refurnish our wooden chairs and tables. But there is a certain society in school that is excluded from this rule. Which one you ask? 6. Always wear your name tag This rule- I understand. With the student body count to over a thousand, it’s no surprise that teachers always get mixed up with our names. If lets say you forget to bring your name tag, the school provides you a rectangular piece of paper for 50 cents. There was one time, a Disclosed friend of mine wrote “SUPER HOT CHICK” on the paper and paraded it around school – kena nicely form Pn Chan. 7. Only white school shoes are allowed. I mean, what if your school shoe gets dirty lah? Some time back last year, I got my school shoe soaked with rain water so I had to fake a toe injury the next day in school. I got Andrea. K to tag along with me. We used cotton wool and red wine- genius us =) 8. No changing your hair color, body parts and eyebrows. Body parts being-no Botox or plastic surgery or ADDING TONS OF FAT TO YOUR LIPS (Owh fine, I’ll admit my certain dislike towards her-I HATE YOU) I died my hair red once and the teachers HATED me- it was my funnest school year. 9. No cellphones There was another time when my Form 3 class played pass the cell phone. The teacher found out anyway- mati kau kau . I can believe that my high school year is coming to an end so soon. It’s as if it passes in a blink of an eye. Cliche, I know but that's how it seems. To all who are still students- cherish it! It ends too fast. LIVE life LAUGH harder LOVE more Sabrina.
