Venue: Cassurina Hotel, some ballroom place.. Date:31st August 2008, 7.00pm Celebration: Annie TEH ( ya i know the sign says Annie Chan, but its Annie TEH, stupid sign board making ppl) the ballroom was shocking decorated preert well. I was expecting some malay thing but got much more.It wasnt top-notch grand. Ok lah... Money worth.  the event started with the guest coming in. Wast preety dissappointed because there was another huge company event that was going on in the opposite ballroom and they had sooo many freegin banners and flyers that you could not even see the entrance. we had cocktails.... more like mocktails acctuallym it tasted good. A mixture of some dragon fruit and kiwi thing. The guest kept on coming. Most of them were lost till Aunty Ivy had to do a hand made sign for the event.  btw, it wasa suprise party fully planned by dad. Which i am rather surprise that he got to pull it off. I mean it's either mom's REAL ignorant or she just tutup satu mata lah.. coz my dad made it sooo obvious. But either ways mom did a good job in the whole "OMG, I'M SO SURPRISED" thing. (mom suprised. I still think she was faking it)the guest were rather helpfull, asking the ppl to off the lights and having several practice surprise rounds for mom. RECAP* Uncle Khoo: "Ok, we practice now ah, so when annie comes in we go " HAPPY BDAY!?" ok? readdy anot?????"      (the very loved pastor clement)   THe loud-hyper-small kids were exceptionally good. They spent one half on the time with the karaoke machine singigng happy bday.. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN... the song stuck on my head for the whole weekend...    the cake was... small. Not much was expected off a complimentry cake from the hotel. And the put this GIGANTIC GOLD christmas candle on it which made it look soooooo wrong  overall it was fun la. Theres nothing much about it to blog about. Alot of eating and small talks.LAughther. the day eneded with dad getting drunk (as ever) Not much happening incidents. Gosh i'm china apek... ya lah... so i go now!! *chinese accent*  The Good Life =)
