So I had Japhia over for 4 days. We had to go to school everyday so we might as well share places. – For the environments sake lah and mom and dad were on holiday in China so the house was practically adult-less. It was fun. Btw. I’m typing this in Microsoft’s. Mom got this brilliant idea of bringing the WHOLE MODEM with her to China! So I’m stuck with an internet-less computer. The amount of times I have played solitaire on the computer is by hundreds. I’m like solitaire queen now. *grins* So, nn Monday, Japhia and I were really bored after school and I was in the mood for Big Apple. So we started calling people to take us to JJ. After a long series of begging, Shas finally agreed to take us. We were rather desperate… for donuts *grins*. We picked up Janna and headed for JJ. Big Apple donuts are truly indulging. HEAVENLY. We bought a dozen. While ordering the donuts: Big Apple Guy: What would you like? In my mind: 12 donuts What came out of my mouth: 12 boxes of donuts please *the guy just stares at me* Then out of a sudden, Shas goes “I feel like cooking”. And that’s how we all ended up having dinner at my place. Courtesy of Shas. So we went to the JJ hypermarket to get food. It was so fun. It has been like forever since I last shopped for a Chinese meal. So we first went to buy kangkung. And Shas was like “Janna and Sabrina, go get kangkung” “Eh, which one is kangkung?” “I don’t know. The green one lah” “Which one?”"It is a long green leafy thing” “Oh wait. I found kangkung. Wah. There is so much” “Choose lah” “Which one?” “I don’t know. The greenest lah” Shas walks away “never mind, I won’t cook kangkung” “No, we want kangkung” “THEN FASTER CHOOSE LAH” Then it was time for potatoes. There were Australian potatoes and Holland potatoes. At first Shas did not see the Holland potatoes so he took the Australian potatoes. But then he saw the Holland ones and put all the Australian ones back. Says Janna “What’s the different between the Australian Potatoes and Holland ones?” Sab “The Potatoes in Holland are colder” “So how to choose potatoes then?” Sab”I think you count the number of dents on it. 8’s a nice number =D” Then it was time for the fish. We were trying to see which fish was the “fresh-esh” so Shas started pulling open the gills of the fish. I don’t know why lah. The said Janna “You can’t do that! You have to respect the fish!” The Japhia goes “that is not the was you check whether the fish is fresh anot lah you have to see whether it is hard or not” Then she takes the penyepit and pokes the fish HARD like VERY VERY HARD. And you could actually see the marks of the penyepit on the fish and says Japhia “ok, I don’t think this fish is fresh” -_-‘’ After all the shopping, kita pun masak. IT WAS A MESS. Never again will i invite NIK to cook in my kitchen. WE took like 2 hours to masak and half an hour 2 eat EVERYTHING and another 2 hours to clean up. LIKE SERIOUSLY NOT WORTH IT so heres the pics la.. i'm kinda in a rucsh. Will blog more on Japhia's stay some other time. The Good Life =)XOXO Sabs XOXO |
